NEAR (Network for Empowered
This was a full branding project, in collaboration with Green Banana Marketing. As well as coming up with a name, strapline and brand story for the NGO network, we created a visual identity along with brand guidelines and editorial guide. The challenge was making the branding work on so many levels. It needed to communicate locality and globality; small-scale community appeal and and large-scale fund-raising; trustworthiness and effectiveness, to name but a few of the key values. We surmised that the client was also looking for a visual identity that was strong and a bit different, something that we realised with the bold colour palette.
